Salaried GP
Are you looking for something different?
Would you like to enjoy coming to work each day and be part of an amazing team who love their job?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic salaried GP to add to our brilliant and diverse primary care team of social prescribers, pharmacists, physiotherapists, nurses and healthcare assistants, advanced nurse practitioners, physician associates, care coordinators, salaried GPs, retainer GPs and GP partners.
Meon Health Practice is an innovative and high achieving, but more importantly, friendly and welcoming practice on the western edge of Fareham. We have three sites which sit at the centre of their respective communities, while immediately around us the South Downs (for land-based GPs) or the Solent (for water-based GPs) are outstandingly beautiful.
We offer a flexible and modern general practice working day, which might include remote working or staggered start and finish times. You could provide traditional primary care or spend time with our integrated teams in urgent care, complex patients or those patients in residential care. If you have (or want to develop) a specialist interest, we actively encourage you to apply to see how we can help you develop a service for our patients. There will be opportunities to develop your clinical leadership skills within the practice.
The salary will be competitive and dependent upon your experience, and includes indemnity, six weeks of annual leave and a week of study leave.
- We deliver care across three purpose-built surgeries.
- We are a single practice Primary Care Network (we were three practices that enjoyed working together so much that we decided to become one!) with a wide range of amazing non-GP PCN clinicians fully integrated into the team.
- We have an Urgent Care team based in one of our buildings who deal with our patients’ same day health concerns
- We have a Complex Care team who manage the needs of our housebound patients (including home visits), those in residential or nursing care, or those with increasing frailty
- We are a well-established training practice with six GP registrars, whilst we also host other students including paramedics and physician associates
- We have a focused Quality Improvement Team who drive forward innovation and develop our processes
- Communication and teamwork is vital for us, and you will be part of a practice team who support each other with information and advice
If we sound like people that you would like to work with, then we would love to hear from you. We welcome informal visits and we can arrange a conversation with one of our team if you would like to know more.
