Anima

Anima is available for online medical and admin requests.

How to use Anima

You will need to sign up or login to your Anima account in order to start a medical or admin request. You can use your NHS log in to create an account (the same way you sign in to the NHS app).

When signing up, select “Meon Health Practice PO15 6JF”, regardless of which of our three surgeries you normally use.


Medical Anima requests

Use a medical request when you want to request an appointment for a new or ongoing medical issues or need medical advice. We aim to respond by the end of the next working day.

Submit during surgery opening hours; 8:00am – 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.

If our GP appointment book is full

  • We will be unable to accept any further Anima medical requests.
  • We will aim to accept medical requests again from 8:00am the next working day.
  • Admin requests can still be submitted between 8:00am – 8:00pm, Monday – Friday.
  • For urgent medical issues, call us on 01329 845777, visit the practice or 111.nhs.uk.

Admin Anima requests

Send us an admin request when you need:

  • a sick note / fit note for your employer
  • test results
  • travel advice
  • to make a change to your personal details
  • a copy of your medical record
  • a form completed.

Admin requests can be submitted between 8:00am – 8:00pm, Monday – Friday.

We aim to respond within 3 working days.

NHS App

Use NHS App to:

  • request a repeat prescription
  • choose a pharmacy for your prescription to be sent to
  • view test results and your health record
  • book some appointments, e.g.: blood tests, cervical screenings
  • get NHS advice for your symptoms
  • track most hospital referrals and appointments
  • find your NHS number and more

The NHS App is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet. Alternatively, you can use your NHS login on a laptop or computer.

Patient Access

Some patients choose to use Patient Access in a similar way to the NHS App. If you already use Patient Access you can continue to use it but you can use the NHS App as well.
