World COPD Day this year – 20th November
Posted on:
To mark World COPD Day this year – 20th November, the Pulmonary Rehabilitation services across Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare, along with colleagues from University Hospital Southampton, are promoting the importance of knowing your lung function and seeking help if you have persistent breathlessness and cough.
This year they will be in local libraries, to take the message out into the local communities.
They will be providing health promotion with information available on COPD and COPD management, checking inhaler technique, stopping smoking and how to get more active.
